The SLE emulates a space based communication channel for
satellite payload and earth terminal testing. Dynamically
changing delay, path loss, phase shift, frequency offset,
and flat fading emulate virtually any satellite orbit.
All link effects are phase continuous, so Doppler carrier
shift and chip period variations are accurately created.
